Just looking at this I know that from my recent practice too I have found it difficult to support children who have no real life understanding of emotions. I think I need to look more widely at resources for this - I suppose in my role that is my job but how many children on autism spectrum out there have access to the specialist programmes they need. Maybe even more so when not all the professionals involved know the answers.
